Day 9 - Enough Already!

Ever feel you have had enough of this extra weight that has been creeping up on you? I know I sure have! Well! Have I got something to share with you! This week, I just happen to catch a new TV show that I discovered on Oprah Winfrey's new network, (OWN). The show is called, "Enough Already." I watched the first two episodes on Monday. I LOVED it! It is all about this guy named, "Peter Walsh" who helps people who have been overtaken by clutter. All I could think of was how it related to the accumulation of extra weight.

So, I thought - I have to share this with the 52 Club family. Tonight, in my effort to create my post , I literally just found out that Peter Walsh actually correlates the same thing - clutter and weight gain in a book that he wrote! OMG! It blew me away! Just too darn funny and so, crazily confirming! And check out the title and the cover of the book! "Does This Clutter Make My Butt Look Fat?" OMG! LOL! I can hardly take it! I will SO be ordering this book off of Amazon right after I finish this post!

Meanwhile, you guys have to try and catch the show. It is great! He has this super simple plan to help folks get clutter out of their lives. They clear out a cluttered room completely. Then they have a "vision" for that room. As they sort through all the "stuff" they determine what goes towards creating that "vision" and the rest has to go ....See why I saw a correlation? I will include a link here to the show's site and you can check it out. www.Oprah.com/enoughalready

Oh y'all! I just know that I am going to get this "clutter" off my body, once and for all. AND, YOU CAN DO IT, TOO! Let's just take it one day at a time, one pound at a time and know that on the other side of all of this, is our beautiful, healthy fit body patiently waiting to be re-unveiled!

Until tomorrow ~ Sweet and slender dreams!

  1. Oh wow! I watched "Enough Already" on my DVR (while I was walking on my treadmill) :) last night and it was a great show! I can see where it relates to any type of extra "clutter" in our lives. The lady on there that didn't want to face her clutter reminded me of me afraid to face my scales or the try-on room at the department store. When she said, "I'm doing the best I can" I knew she could do better. I wasn't being critical, I was actually cheering her on to keep going! One item at a time. The small increments is definitely making sense to me! Thanks so much for letting me know about the show! Great find!
